Highland Falls Railroad Depot in Highland Falls, New York, is a former West Shore Railroad passenger station built in the 1880s and later operated by the New York Central Railroad. Its Shingle Style architecture represents the most sophisticated example of that aesthetic in the village, and it remains one of the few surviving original West Shore Railroad passenger stations—the other being Milton Railroad Station to the north in Ulster County. The station once served local passenger trains running between Weehawken and Newburgh, as well as limited service to Albany, positioned between Fort Montgomery and West Point stations on the line; these trains were discontinued in 1958. Since the mid-twentieth century the building has functioned as a residence, while the tracks themselves continue in use as a CSX freight line. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
