Located in the Yoshii neighborhood of Ukiha, Fukuoka Prefecture, the Hinooka Kofun is a Kofun period burial mound of the zenpō-kōen-fun type—a keyhole-shaped tumulus design distinctive to ancient Japan. Designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1928, it stands as part of the Wakamiya Kofun Cluster, grouped with the nearby Tsukioka Kofun and Tsukado Kofun, together representing an important concentration of funerary monuments from Japan's Kofun period.
