The Hirami Ahmed Pasha Mosque in Istanbul is a small Eastern Orthodox church erected in 1101 and later converted to a mosque by the Ottomans. Originally dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, the structure was part of a monastery bearing the same name—one of thirty-six churches in Constantinople honoring the saint. Constructed of brick in Byzantine architectural style, it ranks among the smallest surviving Byzantine churches of Constantinople and remains notable for its hybrid religious history, though it has received minimal scholarly attention.
