Completed in 2016 and designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Paris's 7th arrondissement is a Byzantine-style Orthodox cathedral that anchors a larger Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center. The complex, formally opened on 19 March 2016 by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, encompasses the cathedral itself on Quai Branly alongside a cultural center, educational facilities on University Street, and administrative offices on Rapp Street, serving as both a religious and cultural hub for the Russian Orthodox community in France.
