Located in northwestern Oklahoma County, the Hopewell Baptist Church, known colloquially as the Teepee Church, is a modernist structure designed by acclaimed architect Bruce Goff. Built during Goff's tenure as Director of the School of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, the church exemplifies his distinctive architectural vision and experimental approach to design. Its striking form and innovative style earned it recognition on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2002, where it was praised as an outstanding example of Goff's work during a formative period in his career.
