Built in 1878, this two-story frame house in Flint, Michigan exemplifies Queen Anne style with Gothic ornamental flourishes. Its irregular massing is characteristic of the period, while the exterior displays distinctive Gothic details including delicately turned posts supporting a wraparound front porch, ornamental brackets, pendants, and lacy vergeboards that resemble icicles. These decorative elements appear again on the roof gable ends, creating a cohesive visual richness typical of late-nineteenth-century domestic architecture. The house was recognized for its historic significance when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
