The Howard Hanson House is a Queen Anne–style residence built in 1888 in Wahoo, Nebraska. It is best known as the childhood home of Howard Hanson, the renowned director of the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, who spent his formative years there while his parents owned the property from 1891 to 1943. In the 1960s, the Wahoo Women's Club acquired the house and converted it into a museum, preserving its historical significance. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 27, 1983.
