The Howard Pyle Studios are two historic brick buildings in Delaware, near Brandywine Park, designed in Tudor Revival style with half-timbered gables. Pyle's own studio was constructed in 1883, while a smaller teaching studio was added in similar style in 1900. After Pyle's death in 1911, the properties passed through several owners—Stanley Arthurs until 1950, then Ellen duPont Wheelwright until 1964—before the Studio Group acquired them and maintained their use as art studios. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
