The Pyle House, located at 376 Idaho Ave., S.E. in Huron, South Dakota, is a one-and-a-half-story late Queen Anne-style residence built in 1894 on a cut stone foundation. Sited on a corner lot, it is distinguished by a wrought iron fence added around 1900. Originally the home of John L. Pyle, the house has been preserved as a house museum and was recognized as one of Huron's finest residential structures when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. By 1973, it was already regarded as among the best-preserved nineteenth-century dwellings in South Dakota.
