The Inisheer Lighthouse is a 19th-century beacon erected in 1857 on Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands in County Galway, Ireland. Built to mark the south-eastern entrance to Galway Bay and the Port of Galway via the South Sound, it remains active today. A red sector of its light warns mariners of Finnis Rock. The lighthouse was constructed as part of a paired installation with the Eeragh Lighthouse on the north-western side of the islands, which also became operational in 1857 to guide vessels through the bay's northern passage.
