Itsukahara Kofun is a keyhole-shaped burial mound located in Mukō, Kyoto, in Japan's Kansai region. Dating to the mid-to-late 3rd century, it ranks among the oldest large tombs of its type, constructed at the very beginning of the Kofun period. Designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 2016 as part of the Otokuni Kofun Cluster, this monumental earthwork exemplifies the zenpō-kōen-fun architectural tradition characteristic of early Japanese funerary culture.
