The J. T. Jecker House stands at 104 N. Liberty in Victoria, Texas, a two-story wood-frame structure built around 1870 and designed by architect Jules Leffland in the Late Victorian style. The building features a distinctive two-story three-bay porch across its five-bay front facade. Originally believed to have been the residence of Dr. James B. P. January, a physician who served in Sam Houston's army during the Texas Revolution, the house was substantially renovated in 1904 for its then-owner Joe T. Jecker, again under Leffland's design direction. By 1983, it retained the appearance it had acquired following that 1904 renovation. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 as part of a broader survey of historic resources in the Victoria area.
