The Mrs. J. V. Murphy House in Victoria, Texas, is a large 2½-story Victorian dwelling designed by architect Jules Leffland and built in 1899–1900. Exemplifying the Queen Anne style popular in the 1890s, the house features a stair turret and wrap-around porch; a tower top was destroyed by storm in the early 1900s and never rebuilt. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 as part of a comprehensive survey of Victoria's historic resources, it stands among the complex and inventive Queen Anne dwellings that Leffland and his contemporaries created during that era.
