The Jerusalem Theatre, a performing arts center in Jerusalem designed by architects Shmuel Bixson, Shulamit Nadler, and Michael Nadler, opened in 1971 as a brutalist and modernist landmark. Constructed from Jerusalem stone and concrete, the complex comprises four auditoria of varying sizes: the Sherover Theatre (950 seats), the Henry Crown Symphony Hall, home to the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (750 seats), the Rebecca Crown Auditorium (450 seats), and the Little Theatre (110 seats). The building houses rotating art exhibitions in its main foyer and additional spaces, while a restaurant and bookshop occupy the ground floor.
