The Jewish Town Hall in Josefov, Prague, stands adjacent to the Old New Synagogue at the corner of Maiselova and Červená Ulice. Built in 1586 in Renaissance style under the patronage of Mayor Mordechai Maisel, the structure acquired a Rococo facade during the 18th century. Originally the principal meeting house of the local Jewish community, the building is now closed to the public but remains notable for its distinctive pair of clocks: one tower clock marked with Roman numerals and another, lower clock displaying Hebrew numerals—which double as Hebrew alphabet letters—arranged counterclockwise around the dial.
