Located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, the Joachim Plambeck House is a 2-story Late Victorian residence built of light pink brick on a stone foundation. The house features a three-bay façade with a front gable, side entrance, and an enclosed porch set within a re-entrant angle. Stone hoods flush with the exterior wall ornament the tops of the rectangular windows. The house is nearly identical to its neighboring Claus Untiedt House, though it retains more alterations. Joachim Plambeck, a German immigrant woodworker, was the first occupant. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984, the house represents a well-preserved example of late-19th-century immigrant domestic architecture.
