The John Holman House, built in 1893 in Humboldt, Nebraska, is a red-brick residence that exemplifies the Queen Anne and Châteauesque styles popular in the Gilded Age. Constructed for farmer John Holman, the two-story structure features a gable roof, dormer windows, and a distinctive three-story tower. The house served as a maternity hospital from the 1940s through the 1960s before being remodeled as a private residence in the 1970s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
