The E. F. Hempstead House is a two-and-a-half-story Queen Anne residence built in 1887–1888 in Pawnee City, Nebraska, for banker and businessman E. F. Hempstead. The house exemplifies the style's decorative exuberance through distinctive architectural details: porch walls clad with imbricated shingles and pierced with open latticework vents, while columns above frame oval-shaped openings capped by circular finials at the entries. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 19, 1982.
