Located in Lynchburg, Virginia, the John Marshall Warwick House is a Greek Revival residence built in 1826 by John Marshall Warwick, a prominent tobacconist who served as the city's mayor in 1833. Perched on the crest of Lynchburg Hill—later known as Court House Hill—the house was among the first structures built at this elevated location overlooking the James River and exhibits architectural features marking the transition from Federal to Greek Revival styles. The home gained further historical significance as the birthplace of United States Senator John Warwick Daniel, Warwick's grandson. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, it remains part of the Court House Hill-Downtown Historic District.
