Saint John the Baptist Church, known as Kanach Zham ("Green Chapel" in Armenian), was an Armenian Apostolic church in Shusha, Nagorno-Karabakh. Built in 1818, it stood on a hillside above the Ghazanchetsots Cathedral and exemplified Armenian architectural tradition. The church took its vernacular name from its distinctive green domes. It occupied the site of an earlier wooden church called Gharabakhtsots, named in honor of local farmers. The building was demolished between December 2023 and April 2024, despite official claims by Azerbaijan and the Baku Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church that it remained standing under renovation following wartime damage.
