Karlštejn Castle, located in Karlštejn in the Czech Republic, is a Baroque and Rococo château built in 1770. Originally constructed as a hunting lodge, the structure exemplifies the architectural styles prevalent in Central Europe during the late eighteenth century. Today it is designated a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
