Located in downtown Orlando, Florida, Kia Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena designed by Populous and completed in 2010. The facility serves as the home of the NBA's Orlando Magic and the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears. Since its opening, the arena has hosted major sporting events including the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament games in 2014, 2017, and 2023, and the 2015 ECHL All-Star Game. The venue also held ArenaBowl XXVI in 2013 and has been a regular host for WWE professional wrestling events, most notably the 2016 Royal Rumble. During the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE operated an extended residency at the arena from August to December 2020, broadcasting its ThunderDome production from the facility before relocating to accommodate the resumption of the 2020–21 basketball and hockey seasons.
