Kilmodan Church stands in the Clachan of Glendaruel on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, built in 1783 in the Georgian T-plan style. The walls incorporate shields from an earlier church that occupied the site, including one dated 1610, and bear a memorial to Reverend John Maclaurin, who served the parish from 1689 to 1699, and his distinguished sons—notably the mathematician Colin Maclaurin. The building features a rendered front facade with harled (rough-cast) ends and rear walls. After complete restoration in 1983, the category B listed church continues to serve its community on a part-time basis, hosting services on the third and fourth Sundays of each month.
