Old Castle Lachlan is a ruined fifteenth-century castle on the shore of Loch Fyne on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Built by Clan Maclachlan, the castle's enclosure dates to the early fifteenth century, with internal buildings constructed in the latter half of the century. It served as the residence of the clan's chiefs until the completion of New Castle Lachlan in 1790, located less than a kilometre to the east-northeast. The site is protected as a scheduled monument and lies near Kilmorie Chapel, a medieval church that served as the burial place of the Maclachlan clan chiefs and remains one of the few surviving medieval ecclesiastical structures in western Scotland.
