Kingdom Centre, a 99-story skyscraper completed in 2002 in the al-Olaya district of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, stands 302.3 meters tall and was designed by Ellerbe Becket and Omrania following an international design competition. Developed by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, the tower distinguishes itself through its striking upper third, which features an inverted parabolic arch crowned by a 65-meter skybridge—a 300-ton steel enclosed corridor with windows. This skybridge makes Kingdom Centre the world's third-tallest building with a hole, after Shanghai's World Financial Center and Taiwan's 85 Sky Tower. The complex houses the King Abdullah Mosque, the world's most elevated mosque from ground level, alongside the 57,000-square-meter Al-Mamlaka shopping mall, offices, the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, and luxury apartments on its 100,000-square-meter site. Upon completion, it briefly surpassed Faisaliah Tower to become Saudi Arabia's tallest building, though it now ranks fifth in the country.
