Al-Faisaliah Centre is a 267-metre commercial skyscraper and mixed-use complex in the Al-Olaya district of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, designed by Foster and Partners and completed in 2000. The high-tech tower, centrepiece of the Al-Faisaliah Center development, was inspired by the form of the Umar ibn al-Khattab Mosque in Al-Jouf Province. Its lobby features a striking stained-glass installation created by architectural artist Brian Clarke in collaboration with Norman Foster. As the first skyscraper built in Saudi Arabia, Al-Faisaliah held the distinction of being the country's tallest building from 2000 to 2002. The tower is named after King Faisal bin Abdulaziz.
