Kuys Varvara, a monastery in Teghenik, Armenia, is a cave shrine dedicated to the Virgin Barbara in Armenian tradition. Located on the southern slopes of Mount Ara, the moss-covered grotto is believed to contain a sacred spring and features an altar within its depths. The site draws pilgrims who venerate Saint Barbara, a revered figure in the Armenian Apostolic Church, whose legend tells of her martyrdom at her father's hands for her Christian faith. The shrine, also known as Tsaghkavank or the Flower Monastery, is surrounded by ferns and candle vendors, serving as a spiritual destination for believers. Recognized as a cultural heritage monument in Armenia, it exemplifies the Armenian architectural and devotional traditions centered on sacred natural sites.
