Built in 1908 in Cleveland, Utah, the Lars Peter Larson House is a Shingle style residence designed to evoke a castle. Constructed for Lars Peter Larson, a son of Danish immigrants and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who worked as a farmer, shepherder, and salesman for the LDS-run Cleveland Cooperative Mercantile Association, the house originally sheltered Larson and his wife, Nora Oveson. The family relocated to Salt Lake City in 1915, after which the property passed through several owners. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
