Built in 1891 in River Heights, Utah, this Queen Anne-style house belonged to Erick Lehi Olson, a Swedish immigrant who converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and arrived in America in 1882. His wife, Ingrid Larsen, also immigrated from Sweden as a convert to the LDS Church, arriving in 1883. Before settling in River Heights, where Olson held prominent positions as bishop and president of the Third Quorum of Elders of the Cache Stake, the couple lived in Logan. The residence exemplifies the Queen Anne aesthetic popular in late 19th-century America and has been recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since March 8, 1997.
