Lyles Consolidated School is a Prairie School–style building that opened in 1919 in Lyles Station, Indiana, serving as the third school constructed in the community. The school operated until 1958, after which it fell into severe disrepair for nearly four decades. In 1997, the Lyles Station Historic Preservation Corporation was established to preserve the structure and local history, undertaking a comprehensive restoration completed in 2003. The schoolhouse now functions as a living history museum, offering insight into early twentieth-century rural education and community life. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
