Mackenzie House, located at 82 Bond Street in downtown Toronto's Garden District, is a Georgian-style historic house museum. The building served as the final residence of William Lyon Mackenzie, the first mayor of Toronto and a prominent figure in Canadian history, particularly remembered for his leadership in the 1837 Upper Canada Rebellion. Now operated by the City of Toronto's Museum and Heritage Services, the house functions as a museum that interprets Victorian-era domestic life and the legacy of Mackenzie and his family.
