Mulberry House at 36 Smith Square in Westminster is a neoclassical residence designed by Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1911 for politician Reginald McKenna. In 1930, the property was acquired by Henry Mond, 2nd Baron Melchett, who commissioned architect Darcy Braddell to undertake extensive internal remodeling and redecoration in conjunction with his wife, Gwen. Braddell's scheme, which engaged notable sculptors and painters including Charles Sargeant Jagger, resulted in what has been described as "one of the most important Art Deco interiors in London." Following institutional use in the post-war years, the house was reconverted to private residential use in the early 21st century. It is now a Grade II listed building.
