Mecklenburg Castle was a medieval stronghold located near Dorf Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, about seven kilometres south of the Bay of Wismar. It served as a residential capital for the Nakonid and Nikloting dynasties of the Obotrites, the Slavic people of the region. Today only fragmentary earthen walls remain of the structure, which is now designated an archaeological monument. Some scholars have theorized a connection between Mecklenburg and Reric, a noted medieval trading center, though this association remains uncertain.
