The Merritt-Ragan House in Hawkinsville, Georgia is a two-story frame dwelling that blends Classical Revival and Queen Anne architectural styles. Originally constructed around 1840 with symmetrical design and square paneled portico columns characteristic of Classical Revival, the house was substantially renovated in 1895, when it was expanded to its current two-story form and gained a distinctive wrap-around porch. A circa 1930 garage on the property serves as a secondary contributing structure. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
