Metzudat Ze'ev, a brutalist office building completed in 1966 on King George Street in Tel Aviv, rises sixty-one meters above the city. Also known as Beit Jabotinsky and HaMetzuda ("the fortress"), the structure was designed by architects Moshe Ben-Horin and Mordechai Ben-Horin. The building has served as headquarters for the Likud party's main staff and has become so closely associated with the party that it is sometimes used as a metonym for the organization itself.
