The Molla Ahmad Mosque, completed in 1300 CE, stands in the Icherisheher district of Baku, Azerbaijan, as a notable example of the Shirvan-Absheron architectural school. Designed by Mahmud ibn Sa'd, the structure represents Islamic architecture of the medieval Caucasus. Also known as the Nasir ad-Din Gashtasib Mosque, it has been recognized as a national architectural monument and forms part of Baku's UNESCO World Heritage Site. The former mosque remains an important testament to early fourteenth-century architectural practice in the region.
