The Church-Mosque of Vefa, also known as Molla Gürani Mosque, is a Byzantine structure in Istanbul built around 1100 and constructed of brick and stone. Originally an Eastern Orthodox church, possibly dedicated to Saint Theodore, it represents one of the most significant examples of Comnenian and Palaiologan Byzantine architecture in Constantinople. The building was subsequently converted into a mosque by the Ottomans, becoming one of Istanbul's notable kilise camiler (church-mosques), a category of structures that reflects the city's layered religious history.
