The Molson Bank Building stands at the corner of rue Saint-Pierre and rue Saint-Jacques in Old Montreal's Ville-Marie neighbourhood. Completed in 1866 as the headquarters of the Molson Bank under founder William Molson, it was designed by architect George Browne in collaboration with his son John James George Browne and holds the distinction of being Montreal's first building constructed in the Second Empire style. The bank itself later merged with the Bank of Montreal in 1925, and the building remains part of a Quebec heritage property.
