The Monar Jonban, or "Shaking Minarets," is a mosque and mausoleum in Isfahan, Iran, built as a shrine over the grave of the Sufi ascetic Amu Abdullah Suqla. Construction began during the Ilkhanate era and was completed in the Safavid period, blending architectural traditions of both eras in brick, wood, tile, and mortar. Rising to 17.5 meters, the structure is renowned for its distinctive pair of minarets, which possess a remarkable engineering property: when one minaret is shaken, both sway and vibrate in response. Recognized as a national cultural property, the building was added to Iran's National Heritage List in 1942.
