The Mosque of Muderis Ali Efendi, located in Prizren, Kosovo, is one of the oldest mosques in the country, built between 1543 and 1581 in Ottoman architectural style. Founded by Ali Effendi, who served as Muderis (Islamic judge) of Prizren, the mosque occupies a distinctive triangular site on Rr. Papa Gjon Pali, positioned downhill from the Catholic Cathedral of Prizren. Ali Effendi is buried in the mosque's garden. The structure suffered significant damage after World War II, when it was repurposed as a Red Cross center, and was further harmed by a fire in 1963. The mosque holds historical importance for its role in the 1905 boycott of Catholic shops in Prizren. Prizren Municipality declared it a cultural monument in 1989.
