The Mount Hood Hotel Annex in Hood River, Oregon, completed in 1912, is a brick hotel building designed in the Chicago School style that occupies a 100-by-100-foot lot at the northwest corner of Oak and First Streets. Built as an expansion of the original Mount Hood Hotel, which had stood since 1881, the annex eventually superseded its predecessor as automobile travel reduced the appeal of the older building's riverside location near the Oregon-Washington Railroad and Navigation Company passenger station. The original hotel, which featured a mansard observation tower and double veranda, was closed after 1926 and demolished around 1930. The annex, now operating as the Hood River Hotel, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
