Mount View, a Prairie School residence at 610 South Jefferson Street in Sheridan, Wyoming, was designed by Glenn Charles McAlister and constructed between 1911 and 1912. The house exemplifies the Prairie School style through its distinctive features: a hipped roof with deep overhanging eaves punctuated by paneled soffits and box cornices, bracketed corners, four brick chimneys, and porches on each side. Built for Lyman Brooks, a Sheridan businessman and Wyoming House of Representatives member, the residence remained in the Brooks family's ownership until the 1980s. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 8, 1997.
