The Mountain View House, now Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, is a historic grand hotel in Whitefield, New Hampshire, dating to 1865. Built in Colonial Revival style, it evolved from a farmstead that expanded to accommodate guests, a heritage reflected in the working farm still operated by the resort today, featuring chickens, sheep, goats, and Scottish Highland cattle. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a member of Historic Hotels of America, the property is notable for reportedly housing the oldest operating elevator in New Hampshire.
