The Northwestern Branch, National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers Historic District is a 90-acre veterans' hospital campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, established to serve disabled Civil War soldiers. Built between 1867 and 1955, the district's contributing buildings exemplify Shingle style architecture characteristic of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth-century institutional design. Now integrated within the 400-acre Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center grounds west of American Family Field, the historic district has earned designation as a National Historic Landmark and listing on the National Register of Historic Places, though it remains among America's Most Endangered Historic Places.
