The Prentice Women's Hospital Building was a striking example of Brutalist architecture designed by renowned architect Bertrand Goldberg and completed in 1975 in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood as part of Northwestern University's Northwestern Memorial Hospital complex. Located on the Near North Side, the hospital served as a maternity center and women's facility until its demolition in 2014, despite being recognized as a National Treasure and appearing on America's Most Endangered Historic Places list. The structure was subsequently replaced by a new Prentice Women's Hospital facility adjacent to Lurie Children's Hospital.
