Osaka-jō Hall is a multi-purpose arena designed by Nikken Sekkei and opened in 1983 in the Kyōbashi area of Osaka, Japan. Accommodating up to 16,000 people across a 36,351-square-meter site, the hall incorporates stone walls modeled after those of nearby Osaka Castle, a design choice that earned it the Osaka Urban Scenery Architects Prize Special Award in 1984. The venue hosts diverse events ranging from professional wrestling and judo championships to large-scale concerts by international and domestic artists. It has become particularly notable as the annual venue for a December performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, which draws approximately 10,000 participants.
