Built around 1900 in Hazlehurst, Georgia, the Pace House is a Victorian-era "gabled ell cottage" distinguished by its cross-gabled roof, brick pier foundation, and two interior brick chimneys. The interior follows a traditional plan with a central hallway flanked by two rooms on each side and a kitchen at the rear. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, the house has served as the Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis Historical Museum since 1996. After the original structure burned in 2011, it was carefully rebuilt to maintain historical accuracy.
