Built in 1900 for Joseph N. Hallock in Southold, Suffolk County, New York, this two-story Shingle Style dwelling exemplifies the residential architecture of its era. The five-bay facade is crowned by a distinctive cross-gabled, gambrel-style roof clad in cedar shingles, a hallmark detail of the Shingle Style movement. Now known as the Ann Currie-Bell House, the residence is part of an outdoor museum complex operated by the Southold Historical Society and was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
