The Palace of the Porphyrogenitus, known in Turkish as the Tekfur Sarayı, is a late 13th-century Byzantine palace located in the northwestern part of Constantinople's old city, now Istanbul. Built as an annex to the greater Blachernae palace complex, it stands as the best-preserved of three surviving Byzantine palaces in the city and represents one of the few relatively intact examples of late Byzantine secular architecture anywhere. The structure remained largely intact until 2021, when it reopened to the public as a museum following comprehensive restoration and reroofing. The museum now displays pottery and tiles produced within the palace buildings during the 18th century.
