The Palais Prinz August von Preussen was a Berlin city palace designed by the renowned Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel and constructed beginning in 1815. This residence for Prince August of Prussia exemplified early-19th-century neoclassical design during Schinkel's most prolific period. The building stood until 1950, when it was demolished in the postwar reconstruction of Berlin.
